Anxiety

Silence is a gift. It is where we can find ourselves. Away from the external chaos that constantly fights for our attention, and inward towards ourselves. Anxiety limits our ability to experience true silence and only when our anxiety is diminished will we find the peace and joy we desire.

I was afraid of silence. It screamed at me. I had no defence against it. Things would come flooding back if I was still. Things I didn’t want to remember. Silence was not my friend. I skirted around it, and filled it with activity, noise, chaos.

Chaos felt better. It suited me and was familiar. I hadn’t befriended myself. I wasn’t kind to myself or compassionate. Self compassion required me to meet myself.

Being able to find peace in our anxiety, which is a process that can be healed requires us to understand the mechanics of anxiety and to learn practical tools to begin to diminish it and its control in our life. This is what I offer you. Practical tools that work.

Anxiety is not our friend. It limits us and diminishes our joy and peace. It creates chaos in our body and our brain, and our life can seem out of control. We can often can feel powerless and overwhelmed.

There is a way back to the peace and joy that you seek. Our spirits are genetically programmed to find wholeness, peace and immeasurable joy.  I have helped numerous clients in my 35 years of practice find a way back to themselves, their natural state of joyfulness and excitement about their life. I do this through teaching you practical tools to diminish and regulate your anxiety and obsessive thinking.

I also help you to understand how anxiety is created in your body and how it affects your brain and your thought patterns.

Please call me and I would be happy to spend 10 minutes with you so you can decide to start your journey back to yourself!
