The cost of loving someone is the eventual loss of that person. The cost of not having loved is much greater than this. Love and loss are heart expanding experiences. Grief is an expansion process not a diminishing process. It means we have loved, and we have loved well.  We can move through cre in a healthy way. We will come out on the other sidw of the grieving process with new gifts and insights.
